Any book editors?

I am planning to self publish but need an editor so I can get closer to publishing!

About my book: I have a complete manuscript of 37170 words and hoping to expand it. My main goal for A Predator’s Promise is to create a compelling dark fantasy romance that readers become emotionally invested in, particularly through the character relationships, world-building, and the tension between destiny, loyalty, and forbidden love. As this is my first book, I’m looking for honest developmental feedback that will help strengthen the story and identify any weaknesses in pacing, plot structure, character arcs, and overall flow.

I’m also hoping to eventually pursue publication, so I want to make the manuscript as strong as possible before moving forward.

Here is what I’m looking for: As a new author, I’m primarily looking for developmental editing and honest, constructive feedback on my manuscript.

I’m hoping to receive insight into plot structure, pacing, character development, character arcs, world-building, dialogue, and overall story flow. I want to know what is working well, what isn’t, and where the manuscript could be strengthened to create a more engaging and emotionally impactful reading experience.

My goal is to preserve my voice as an author while improving the quality of the story and preparing it for future publication. I’m particularly interested in feedback regarding reader engagement, the development of the romance, the effectiveness of the fantasy elements, and whether the characters feel compelling and believable.

Since this is my first book, I’m also looking for an editor who is willing to explain their feedback and help me better understand the revision process. At this stage, I’m exploring my options and looking for the best fit for both my manuscript and my long-term goals as an author.

I’d also love to learn a bit more about your editing process, rates, and typical turnaround time for a manuscript of this length.

I look forward to hearing from you!
