The upsurge in youth being diagnosed with disabilities and mental illnesses
Okay i want to start this out saying I am an autistic individual so dont come at me with any of that bs..
I am getting sooo over the uprise in tiktok mental illness / disability jumping larpers omfg ur not autistic with adhd, ocd, bipolar and depression ur bf just dumped u and ur screen time is 9 hours! this might be ignorant but it obviously doesnt apply to everybody? I understand diagnosis’s are privileges but u CANNOT claim to have something like a disability or mental illness if its not diagnosed by the appropriate health professionals??? Just say u have symptoms of it at least omfg. Everyone wanna be autistic now 😣😣😣?
No but seriously I cannot keep seing these people collect disorders and illnesses like theyre fly points. Having mood swings doesnt make you bipolar, liking things to be organised doesnt mean u have ocd and liking silence when u work does not mean u have autism?!?! This is all very first world problems when u think about it but its really frustrating watching the same people who bullied me and so many others all of a sudden be autistic because they bought a nee-do and they’re “so silly🤪“ UGH!
