Resolved FB and IG disabled
I’ve been using Meta for Ads for my clients for over 10 years. Recently I had my personal FB and IG wrongfully disabled by Meta despite my clients spending around $4m a year. This meant I had no way to access their accounts.
I honestly think the only reason I managed to get this resolved is due to having some connections and not even due to my Ad Spend.
The most useful piece of advice I received from anyone at Meta during this whole process - which will hopefully be helpful to others.
If you can’t get your access back, create a new personal account. Here’s the important bit. When creating it use a completely different phone, phone number and email address. I used my real name, borrowed a friends old phone and got a pay as you go SIM. This new account was live and working for around 7 days with no issues. As my issue has been resolved I have no deactivated it so as to not be in breach of Meta’s guidelines of having more than one personal account.
If you use an existing phone device, phone number or email, your new account is likely to also get flagged and disabled.
This bit I’m guessing could work - I imagine what you could try doing is once your new Facebook account has been active for a month or two you could try paying for Meta Verified Pro, and then opening a support case to see if they can help you get your old account back.
