Let's sign against Instagram and meta

Hello friends, I'm from the country of Mexico and I make this statement so that everyone can join the cause that a girl from my same country is doing who, like us, disabled our Instagram account unfairly without having any kind of strike or any restriction, in truth, at the time they disabled my Instagram my mental health has not been the same, depression, insomnia, melancholy, came to light. So with all my heart if you can join this cause since in reality we are more than millions of users, it would be very helpful, just as if you have any advice on how to recover Instagram for account integrity it would be very helpful

This was quickest way to get the account back

Hey folks I know many of you are struggling with your accounts being disabled all of a sudden thanks to some AI bot deciding to do it. Welcome to the dystopian world. I too was victim of this sudden suspension. I did the video authentication and waited and waited. Sent them messages all over the place. X, help page etc. nothing worked. Then what really worked was chatting to the helper bot in their help and faq page. And it immediately triggered the recovery of my page asking me pardon. Phew. Was that simple 🤣.
Hope this helps someone.

The bot at the bottom of this page helped me. Will work only if you have already submitted video verification https://help.instagram.com/

Meta account disabled - cant recover the account, cant get support

*Update: Found a live chat with a real person for product support. He is appealing my meta account for me separate to my facebook. He said no gurantee but should find out within a few days and that it "might" clear my facebook ban also.

So the other day my Facebook and Instagram account ive had for near on 20 years got banned for "community standards", appeal automatically submitted without doing myself and perma banned.

I never comment on anything so was complete random. (Not the first ive heard of this happening due to meta using ai moderation)

Because of this it disabled my quest headset and meta account.

I then get the email below which seems to state i can get my meta vr account back by removing the facebook account.

https://preview.redd.it/qe769hggco2h1.png?width=1443&format=png&auto=webp&s=500d0c21606bb8202023373ed4c4bd2ee626494f

How ever when i go to log into the accounts page to do this im redirected back to facebook where it tells me my account is disabled.

Tried the meta support page but my device seems to also be banned as it says support not available for this device when typing in the serial number.

Anyone please got guidance?

Meta disabled my ad account AND personal account after a copyright strike — 3 days in, can't like/comment/reply to anything. Has anyone recovered from this?

Meta disabled my ad account AND personal account after a copyright strike — 3 days in, can't like/comment/reply to anything. Has anyone recovered from this?

My account is 20 years old, I have Meta Verified, and everything was fine until I got a copyright strike from a company claiming I used one of their assets in an ad creative.

Then everything fell apart at once:

  • Got logged out of my account
  • I went throught video verifications loophole to get it back
  • Ad account disabled
  • "Temporarily blocked from interactions due to suspicious activity" message
  • Cannot like, comment, reply to anything — not even respond to customers on my business page

I contacted Meta support, they told me to verify my identity and then appeal — which I did. They closed the case and absolutely nothing changed. It's been 3 days now.

Has anyone else experienced this cascade of bans from a single copyright strike? Did you actually manage to recover? What actually worked?

Huge part of my business depended on that meta account and page , and now we are left with nothing, and no ads running and losing customers and money everyday because of this shitty platform.

I found the reason for the ban on my account

About a week ago I got suspended from Facebook after being a victim of fraud. Hacker phished my account details and got into my account. Once inside they tried buying crazy amount of Facebook ads using my linked credit card. Luckily my bank flagged it as suspicious and blocked all attempts. I logged into my account and removed the card and then cancelled the card with the bank. They couldn't change my password (2FA) and because I removed the card they retaliated. Soon after I was kicked out of everything Meta. Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram. Account disabled with no reason and just said this cant be reviewed.

I took a day maybe 2 before downloading my info. Once downloaded i scanned through all the files. I was able to trace the Hackers Login with IP and location (india)

And then on of the last folders I checked was ID verification. And there is was.... They uploaded a bogus ID with just nonsense... Cuss words and a picture of Child Corn*. This is what the AI picked up.

So here's the thing i have evidence to prove it wasn't me but no way of presenting my evidence.

If a human vetted this they would have picked it up and not result in a ban...

BRO WTFFF HELP ME

So it all started on May 17th, my main account got suspended, I appealed and it got disabled permanently. After that, I realised all the accs that were connected to my main account were also disabled, it specifically mentioned on Instagram that these accounts were disabled solely cause the main one is disabled. I created a new account on the same day, everything was fine until today, I had meta verified on my account on 3 year old unused fb and I was planning to get it to help reinstate my account, the name and pfp had to be changed. It kept showing some error so I couldn’t do it, someone gave me a suggestion to link my new Instagram and my fb. Within 10 minutes, both got suspended. I decided to make a new Instagram with the only email I had left, it got suspended too. Someone with meta verified or anyone who can help PLEASE HELP ME I NEED HELP ASAP. Please help me.
Genuinely I’m begging anyone to please help me.

Got New account

Ok I got a new phone and new phone number, created a new account and it went fine no face verification or anything. Had the account for a few weeks added a few old friends and joined a few groups. I'm just wondering if I add any pics with my face will my new account get banned? When my old account got banned I did the face verification thing and then got permanent banned. If I upload any pics with my face will they recognize it and my new account get banned as well?

Messenger Restricted

Has anyone had their messenger restricted unless they make you ID verify? I've read a lot of comments here and basically once you verify they perma ban you. I still have access to FB and can read messages just cant respond. Iam not gonna verify bc I dont want to get banned but hoping it goes away? The thing thats annoying is that it only shows me the verify message once I try to send a message but looks normal otherwise. My brain tells me that everytime I try to send a message it restarts the clock. What a time to be alive. 🙃

All Meta Accounts Disabled

I’m posting this because I genuinely don’t know what else to do at this point, and I’m hoping someone here has gone through something similar with Instagram/Facebook account enforcement.

I’m a professional photographer and my Instagram account (@robbiecancian.photographer) is a huge part of my business, client communication, and income.

This whole situation actually started BEFORE the mass disable.

My photography account was initially suspended because Instagram flagged me for spam-like behavior after I was rapidly liking people’s “Instants” photos. I wasn’t using bots or automation, just interacting too quickly apparently.

At that stage, Instagram asked me to verify that I was a real person.

I successfully completed:

- photo ID verification

- selfie/video verification

Because my account was important for work, I also went through Facebook and paid for Meta Verified specifically so I could speak to a real support agent.

The Meta Verified support agent told me my case would be escalated to a specialized team and that I should monitor my email for updates.

While waiting for that escalation, I realized I still needed a way to contact clients and continue working, so I converted one of my spare Instagram accounts into a backup account.

I changed the username to make it a backup account and started setting it up.

That’s when everything completely fell apart.

Almost immediately after changing the spare account into a backup account, Meta flagged it for suspicious activity.

Then ALL of my linked Meta accounts started getting disabled through Accounts Center.

That included:

- my photography Instagram (20k)

- my reels Instagram (27k)

- secondary photography account (1k)

- another business account (500)

- my Facebook account (20 years old)

Now I can’t access ANY of them.

The only account Meta still technically lets me interact with is the backup account, but it’s stuck in an endless video verification loop that never progresses or restores access.

I can no longer submit appeals on my main accounts because they now say:

“You cannot request another review of this decision.”

After everything got wiped out, I became desperate to reach support again.

Since I couldn’t access my own Facebook anymore, I used a friend’s Facebook account to purchase Meta Verified AGAIN just so I could talk to another support agent.

That second support agent basically told me the same thing:

- my case has been escalated to a specialized team

- wait for email updates

- no timeframe provided

At the time of writing this:

- it has been around 24 hours since my original photography account was disabled

- and around 16 hours since ALL of my linked Meta accounts were disabled

What makes this so frustrating is that this honestly feels like a chain reaction caused by Meta’s automated systems.

I was never:

- running bots

- buying followers

- impersonating anyone

- posting illegal content

- trying to evade bans

I was:

  1. flagged for rapid liking behavior

  2. verified myself successfully

  3. told my case was being escalated

  4. then nuked across every Meta platform after creating a backup account to contact clients

Now I’ve lost:

- access to my photography business account

- access to Facebook

- access to Meta Verified support

- years of work and connections

- my normal communication with clients

Has anyone here actually recovered from this kind of linked-account cascade disable?

Especially:

- after being told the decision was final

- after being stuck in video verification loops

- and after all Meta accounts were disabled together through Accounts Center

Any advice, escalation paths, or success stories would seriously help right now.

FaceBook Suspensions: Helpdesk has offered to “help” for $100

Has anyone been permanently banned from FaceBook for supposed violation of Community Standards? I literally got a message from both FB and WhatsApp asking me to verify who I was. I live in US but am here in the Emirates for a few months (arriving the day after conflicts broke out). I thought it was a scam. Then I received notification that I was "permanently banned from FaceBook for supposed violation of Community Standards?" and could not appeal the decision.

Meta AI (FaceBook) provided me numerous broken links.
Conversation here:

Me: "**But how is this possible. I haven't done anything toooooooo get banned. Who makes these decisions? Why can I at least not know what I have done? I have had my old account for over 13 years?**

Meta AI: I understand your questions and your frustration, especially given your long history with the account. It's natural to want to know why this decision was made.

Let me search for general information regarding how these decisions are made and what kind of transparency Meta provides regarding account disablement for Community Standards violations."

Me: **Is there no individual with whom I can speak.**

Meta AI: I understand you'd like to talk to a person, but there isn't a human agent for you to chat with. I can take a look at your issue and will try to fix it for you in this chat. Let me know what you need, I'm ready to help.

Me: **"I want to:**

Please complete your sentence so I can understand what you would like to do.

**A. Get back on to my account, or B. Know what occurred to permanently ban me**

Meta AI: I understand your two main goals: to get back into your account, or at least to understand why it was permanently banned.

Regarding **getting back into your account (A)**:
As we discussed, the information from the Help Center indicates that for accounts that have been **permanently disabled**, there is generally no further review or appeal process available. This means that once an account reaches this status, it cannot typically be reactivated.

Regarding **knowing what occurred to permanently ban you (B)**:
Meta's policies state that when an account is disabled, a message is usually displayed upon attempted login, providing information about the violation. However, since you are unable to log in at all, accessing specific details about the violation directly through your account is not possible.

Meta's enforcement actions are designed to be proportional to the severity and history of violations. While they aim to provide notifications and information about the nature of violations, for severe or persistent violations, accounts can be disabled without prior warning, and in such cases, they cannot be restored.

Here's a relevant guide on the complaints handling process: \[Fourth Broken link\]

Me: **Every link you've sent me is broken. This page isn't available**
**The link may be broken, or the page may have been removed. Check to see if the link you're trying to open is correct.**

Meta AI: I sincerely apologize that this link is also broken. I understand how incredibly frustrating it is to encounter these issues repeatedly.

I have provided all the available information from the Help Center regarding permanently disabled accounts and the processes for appeal or understanding the reasons for disablement. Unfortunately, the Help Center consistently indicates that for accounts that are permanently disabled, there is generally no further review process.

Given that I cannot access account-specific information or provide working direct appeal forms for permanently disabled accounts, I have exhausted the resources I can offer to resolve this specific issue.

Me: **This is the fourth URL you have sent me to that isn't working**

Meta AI: You are absolutely right, and I sincerely apologize for the broken links. It is clear that the resources I am able to access are not providing a functional path for you to address your permanently disabled account.

I have provided all the information available to me from the Help Center regarding permanently disabled accounts and the general processes for appeals. Unfortunately, the information consistently states that for accounts in this status, there isn't a further review process, and I am unable to provide working direct appeal forms or specific account details.

Since I cannot offer any further steps or working solutions for your situation, I must conclude our chat. I truly regret that I couldn't resolve your issue

Me: Any suggestions or go arounds? This is literally the conversation. The pity is that there are lost pictures of friends and family who are no longer alive that I will lose. Plus conversations that are actually quite important. I cannot imagine anything I could have said or done that would have caused a ban. Any ideas to this very long post would be appreciated.

9 yr old acc gone because stupid meta ai bot bans ppl for false stuff

**repost because old post got deleted (mb)**

Like I did everything thoroughly, used my passport and stuff and they said the image wasn't clear enough and it honestly pisses me off how you get little to none human interaction when you try to contact support like the company heavily relies on ai and not humans anymore. Its very stupid and we can't do anything about it, ever since my main account got banned I made like 2 accounts and they all got banned the longest one lasting up to 2 days before my "Ip address" got me banned. Now I'm asking some friends to make an account for me I'll update ya'll soon If I do get banned or no hopefully this works I miss talking to my gf :')

Permanently disabled + reactivated!

Guys! I was devastated when FB disabled my account, I tried to appeal it by verifying my account by facial recognition and then that’s when I got the email saying I’ve been permanently banned!!!! 16 years of memories down the train with no way to retrieve picture, videos, posts, communication with old time friends, etc.. I was completely heartbroken and sad! I even tried to make another account but it wouldn’t let me either so I just let it go and took it as a social media detox and deleted the app.. then 2 months later I received an email notification that someone sent me a fb message which I thought was weird so I decided to log in again and it reappeared and I’ve never been so happy! Hope this brings hope to people that had their accounts “permanently banned”🫶🫶🫶🫶

Am I too late or still do small claims?

My account has been banned last year in March for "Child Sexual Exploitation" (or something like that). I appealed, and then they denied it.

Let me explain:
I woke up to my laptop (that had my FB account open) saying the exploitation thing. I go to appeal, but I didn't realize it was going to ask for my face (Laptop was an awkward angle), so I closed it on my laptop and opened my phone.

Now, you would THINK they would ask you to take a picture, but instead, they just "auto-take" so when it said turn left, I turned right (still tired) then it took the photo automatically and then proceeded to take photos automatically as I try to adjust to what they were asking me.

SO, I got denied, and I sent a letter I was going to sue on April of last year. However, things got in the way, and I haven't been able to start the process or even get a consult from a lawyer (family deaths, juggling responsibilities, etc etc). Anyways, a year later, I am now free to do so.

Even though its been a year, I should still go ahead, right?
