Need help identifying an old hunting scope

I got this rifle from an older gentlemen a few years back for free, and it's been kicking around my shed for a few years because I don't have a rifle to attach it to. From my own googling, I think it's a Weaver V7, but I could very well be wrong. And no, the scratched in cross hair wasn't my handiwork, I don't know what dummy did that. Any help is appreciated
