Hi. I applied for a pgwp from outside Canada yesterday. I got confirmation for submission same day. Today I got ghost update. Nothing changed in my profile , didn’t show application updated or no final decision date. What it means?
Im in a situation.
My completion letter has a date of Dec 22, 2025 and my study permit expiry was on 31 march , 2026.
I applied for pgwp on march 23,2026. When I count the days I'm at 91 days. I realized that at the third week on may. I spoke with ircc and on campus and they asked me to withdraw my application since I’m out of status even by 1 day. I was told that either I can withdraw and apply for restoration and pgwp or I can leave Canada and apply pgwp outside Canada before June 22 , 2026 that’s when the 180 day deadline is for outside Canada from the completion letter .
So I decided to leave Canada on may 25. I’m putting in an application from outside a Canada now and need guidance from you . I’ve also prepared an loe that I would Like you to look at. Overall do you think I’ve made a safer decision? Help with my application would greatly be appreciated
I’m prepared the required documents and have a loe ready with supporting documentation.
Can you guys let me know what are the chances of approval? How fast is the processing in India for pgwp and passport stamping?
