I was going through cleaning out my attic when I found two large sets of sterling silverware - Stieff and Towle (Stieff pics 1-4) (Towle 5-7) both are huge sets with varying conditions - rats got into booths boxes, some pieces are untouched (Towle more untouched) while others are covered in rat droppings and turned black. Currently trying to remove with baking soda/hot water/ aluminum foil soak but wondering two things-

One. What are other/best ways to restore to good conditions

Two. What’s is/could this be worth? Any help is
