What should I do with them now?

Hello I recently cleaned a set of quite tarnished silver plated silverware that I got from an old auntie so I scrubbed it a bit with bar keepers friend until the spots are gone but they look clean, then the next day I am using them in the kitchen and I put them in like a container of tap water and the next 30 mins to an hour 3 of them turned greenish with one of em having black spots, is it still ok to use them for plating and cooking etc?

Silverware Appraisal (USA)

Wondering if you have an idea of what this silverware might be worth. We are planning on selling it. Our family is from Ratón, New Mexico but it might be from Indiana. We are not clear where it came from but hoping to get an idea of how much to sell it for. Thank you for your help!

Found is Morocco. Can you help me date this fork, please, at least to the decade? Stainless steel marked on the back...I think.

I got these many years ago from my grandma, they've been sitting in a closet for quite a few years Just curious is it better to sell them as a whole i have 8 sets like that and those salad things or as metal?

Got these for free and would love more info

I got to clean out a unit at my work and stumbled across these! I’ve done some research and it seems like this was a families personal set since all the back sides have initials or names on them, but I was hoping to get more info since most of my silver collecting is in coins and I also just wanted to share this super cool find. I’ll try to put the rest of the pictures in the comments.

Anything is appreciated and thanks in advance!

Not sure if this is silver, or what it is used for. Found in my mom’s china cabinet.

Help with Oneida pattern

Novice here… This is obviously Oneida - and I thought Sumatra but I’m not certain with it. And it seems bronze - gold in Color (is that an age thing) any help appreciated

Edit: there is a Thailand stamp on them as well which seems off for Oneida

Silver cutlery UK

Hi,

I’ve been handed a cutlery set by a grandparent, I’d love to get a bit more info on what the symbols mean and the engraving.
It’s all in this wooden box again I’d love to get some info on where it was made etc.

Thanks!

Matching dishware for this set

Hi everyone. I'm moving soon and it's time to upgrade my dishware. I found these beautiful side dishes on Amazon that I want to base the rest of my kitchen around.

Problem is it's surprisingly hard to find spiral dishware. Does anyone have any recommendations on matching sets for this? Or recommendations on other subreddits to post on?

TIA!

Just used a silver spoon, it tastes so weird compared to stainless.

For context i bought a silver spoon to see if it tasted better, it does. I tried it with soup first. You know that weird metal dust taste you get when using stainless? Its like that but more.. i dont know how to put it in words. Its different though
