Marple Newtown Superintendent Pay

MN superintendent is now the 9th 8th highest paid in the state:

I’m wondering if anyone has any insight as to why they are paid so much. It seems she was at 195k in 2020.

Have they improved the district enough in 6 years to deserve a 103k pay raise?

Crumbling facilities (middle school was closed early on Monday due to no AC; on top of that building being a dump)

Failing state test scores.

233rd in the state for average teacher salary and 13/20 in Delco.

Make it make sense.

Edit: Asst Super - Curriculum - 198k
Asst Super - HR - 206k
