I have a neighbour who is 15/16 years old. He RAGES and yells slurs (n-word mostly) nightly from about 6pm to 3am. He is home alone a lot. I saw his mom pulling into the driveway tonight, and I respectfully ran over and asked if she could please ask him to close a window or be a little quieter past 11pm. She put on her fake Chinese accent (she has lived in Canada for 15+ years I have heard her speak perfect English with almost no accent) and said “we live here it’s our house”. I submitted bylaw and a non-emergency complaint.

Am I in the wrong? WWYD? I can hear it through my closed windows. This has been a nightly occurrence for about 3 years whenever there are no cars in the driveway.
