Can't delete driver software program files, Windows 11
I can't delete the program files for some software I'm trying to manually uninstall. The software is the Wacom tablet driver, and I'm manually uninstalling per instructions from Wacom support. Every time I try to delete the Tablet folder, Windows tells me I can't, because the files are open in another program. I turned off the auto start feature in Wacom Center and restarted. I checked Task Manager and no Wacom programs were running. Still can't delete the Tablet folder.
I didn't see an option for uninstalling in a simpler way, by just clicking "uninstall." If possible, I prefer to do it manually, in case there was a reason Wacom wants me to do it manually (two different support agents instructed me to do this process, with detailed instructions updated one year ago).
I didn't want to follow the uninstall command prompts I saw online, because I didn't want to make things worse if a prompt was incorrect or if I failed to follow the instructions correctly (none of the prompts were from an official source like Wacom). But if that's the next best thing I should try, let me know.
Or if you know how to get those program files to manually delete, that would be great!
I have Norton 360 app installed. Could that be stopping me from deleting any program files?
Thank you so much for the help!
