You 2010 borns are complaining about being gate kept but yet you hate on birth years younger than you? (RANT)

I genuinely do not get it. I see posts about oh, 2010 is being gatekept, oh, they are seen as babies. but i have seen FAR more gatekeeping on 2013/2014 borns than on 2010 borns. Just admit it. Even when they are now 13 years old, you still try to separate from them just because of something THEY cannot control. like I genuinely cannot understand this pure irony. if you don’t want to get hated on, then don’t do the same thing to birth years younger than you. it’s genuinely frustrating and it has to stop!

Why does 2026 kinda feel like 2025 part 2

like I mean, the school year is almost over, and although some things have changed, i feel like culturally this year isn’t really that different from 2025. Summer 2026 is approaching but it kinda feels the same as last summer when I was 13. Why is this? Anyone else feel this way? I’m hoping 2027 will feel different tbh.

I’m a 2012 born and I’ll soon be entering high school this 2026-2027 school year. for those who are already in high school or have finished it, how is it like? any suggestions?

Idk if this is the right sub, but anyways:
My friends and I (all 14) have been „renovating“ this old ruin for about 9 months to make it our hangout spot. So far, we have power, a TV, and internet. We are looking forward to getting running water, making the place look a bit better, and planting some things in our new small loft bed.

For those wondering, it was a cafeteria for an old stone quarry in my town. It was built in the 60s and abandoned in the 80s. It was built to be dynamite-proof, which is why it’s still standing.
Also, we made entire movies about us renovating this house, but we aren’t sure if we should release them. What do you guys think? (Btw, the movies would be only in German for now.)
