I am a 30 year old female with no diagnoses and medications. For the last three years I have been having repeated microscopic hematuria without any symptoms. I went for an ultrasound and they found nothing but what a doctor described as “a simple cyst” on my left kidney and dismissed me and further investigations. When I look up the ultrasound pictures of simple cysts mine does not match it somehow. When performing an ultrasound the doctor asked about family issues with cancer which scared me even more. Can a doctor explain if my ultrasound looks more like a cyst and what other possible testing I need to do for hematuria?
