Red terror painted differently in leviathan

So wouldn't that be pretty strange having different fleet centerpiece?

Because imo red terror being red is cool

Or ill make very bloody leviathan one

Winged tyranid prime warhammer

I started painting hobby like a few months ago

Really like trying new stuff, especially bases and now I learned how to glaze (look at the wings!)

Im so happy with the result, my favorite mini now

Have a lot of nids to paint more (psychopghage, 3 tyrants and new lictor)

Quantum shards as a gift

Does it look like an actual quantum shard?

I decided to make them for myself and a girl I just recently met online. I really feel something for her already, sooo I felt a huge spark of motivation to make something special, not just buy some roses and stuff

I love making things myself, so a quantum shard was a perfect match for what I wanted to do. Made it with air-dry clay, primed it, painted it, and applied varnish so it looks glossy and has nice protection

I thought of gifting it to her when we see each other IRL (tmrw btw!)

I also prepared a small box with a little drawing saying "The universe is, and we are"

What do yall think, does that look cool as a gift?

i already have tyranids as my first one and i already practiced some things on them painting wise

i wanted to try something new and i really like chaos knights and overall slaanesh lore and minis especially the fiends so i thought about buying both

but when i looked up at combat patrol - yeah it seems that it gives so many minis for low price but i dont really feel like painting all that bunch of minis just for quality and waiting a ton of time JUST to buy those that i wanted first

and yeah seems that its an easy question - just buy what you like but the problem is that ill practice color scheme on expensive minis not just some normal marines

i like painting ALOT more than playing so i value it more

sorry if anyone finds this question stupid though

any advice?
