So pissed about Karlach's romance
I slogged through Act 1 and Act 2, followed everything to a T, and yet I get absolutely fucking boned in Act 3 cause of a bugged out glitch that happens in Act 2, terminating your relationship with Karlach.
This is my first true playthrough of the game solo where I focused a romance for once and Karlach's was so adorable after the first upgrade that I followed it through, totally worth it in the beginning. For some reason in Act 2, as soon as you do her second heart upgrade, every single character throws themselves at your feet. Because of, I guess, the priority order of cutscenes, Karlach's romance scene is in the back. It's also heavily overshadowed by the lore cutscenes happening too. If you're not careful you bug out and her scene, which is paramount to your relationship status, will never trigger. It locks you out of your romance permanantly. This is a double fuck you if you dont realize that it was supposed to eventually trigger at some point within long rest 3-5 in Act 2, (and a game guide told me it could trigger after killing Kethric), So I had also broken up with Shadowheart right after Shar's trials (heartbreaking fucking scene, she was at her lowest having been excommunicated from her following).
final note: Fuck Wyll, I swear if he wasn't in my party I genuinely think I would have like 5 less lore cutscenes (and his bullshit romance) not happening in my camp. The fact lady Mizora unironically cock blocks me multiple times (both with Karlach and shadowheart) is mind blowing. I never even talked to the dude except for story reasons.
also had a weird gay adventure with Gale in Act 1.5, did not realize he was hitting on me till halfway through the spell he was teaching me (absolute rizz god)
