First noticed hair loss on August 24 was vitamin deficient took injection and tablets but hair loss continued then got dengue last October during this whole time I have struggled with dandruff and dermatitis but since a couple of months hair loss has worsened.

I have been using hair serum and multivitamin since the last 18 months but now a couple a days ago my doc gave me minoxidil 5% an i recover from this or would I have to take finastaride.

It started with vitamin deficiency then last year hot dengue in October have been applying serum(not minoxidil) for almost 18 months now started 5% minoxidil can it save me.

Note: my second doc prescribed me 1mg finastaride for month when i was 16 and I did not have any side effects so can I start finastaride and will I get side effects
