What to buy?
Hi all,
I currently own a 2009 Edge with 200k miles on it. I’ve put 60k since I bought it in 2021. I’ve done all the lifetime fluid changes. I need to do the transmission again. But I am looking to buy either a used 2024 edge or a new escape or explorer depending on sales this winter. Also looking at a CRV as I grew up in them but have driven/owned only fords. I love my edge and I’m so sad they discontinued it but I have heard people don’t like the infotainment system and have problems with transmission. My transmission blew in my 2011 Escape at 100k but we replaced it and she lasted another 90k before she got totaled by a reckless driver. But I love my Edge but I just don’t know if I can justify the used car price when I can get something brand new and put the money towards that rather than used.

There is a nice 2024 Titanium Edge with 29k for 27,000 near me.
