I found the Lenovo LOQ (Intel i5 12th Gen 12450HX, 16 GB ram, 512 GB SSD, RTX 4050) on sale for 677$. Would you recommend any other laptops that would be better than the LOQ for video editing (After Effects + Premiere Pro) and music production (FL Studio) around the same price range?

I edit heavily in After Effects and Premiere Pro and I make music using FL Studio. I currently have an i5 10th Gen Windows laptop. I need to buy a better laptop since this one is extremely slow for rendering, especially in After Effects.

I was leaning towards the base-model M4 and M5 MacBook Airs. A friend of mine recommended them for their good long-term performance and fast processing. However, I use pirated software a lot. I am worried that even after pirating FL and Adobe software on the Mac, I might run into trouble trying to pirate the plugins and VSTs I use like Serum for FL and Sapphire & CRT Retro Emulator for AE. Do you think this would be an issue? Should I just go for a windows laptop to avoid this? Only problem is I'm not sure if there is a good enough rival to these Macs at this price point.
