I am extremely lonely and loveless

24 and still in college are there other people in the same situation?

I’m curious how common it actually is to be in college at 24 or older. For those of you who are older students, what led you to be in college at this age? Did you start later, change majors, take time off, or have other circumstances that delayed things?
And honestly, how has your experience been? Do you feel out of place around younger students, or does nobody really care?
I’d appreciate hearing other people’s experiences because I think I need some perspective on this.

How can I revive my vintage Canon PowerShot A480 after years?

I'm trying to bring back my old Canon PowerShot A480.
Bought it in 2009 and stopped using it around 2015. My mom said back then the lens started opening only halfway because the batteries weren't holding up, so they gave up on it.
I really want this camera to work! I put in brand new Panasonic Heavy Duty AA batteries, but it won't turn on at all no lights, screen, or sound.
l've attached a photo of the internal battery compartment. Does anything look broken or corroded here, or should I give up? Is there any trick to reviving this, or is it officially dead?
