Canon PowerShot A530 date always resets

Got this little Camera for 5€ from a thrift store. I have put fresh batteries in it and it seems to work fine. The only issue I’m facing is the Date reset every time i turn it off and on again. Is it supposed to be like this?

Canon S90 Powershot showing no image

I know it’s dirty and dusty. Came out of a storage bin. No idea what’s going on but it opens just fine, turns on without issue, and screen works. But for some reason no image is displayed. Any ideas what might be causing this to happen?

New Kodak pixpro fz55 - pics seem green? Help

I’ve just bought a small digicam (Kodak pixpro fz55) and I’ve set all my settings to the recommended ones which are:
Program AE
Expo: AiAE
16m
AFS OFF
SINGLE
Singe-af
HDR OFF
AWB: Cloudy
Vivid

The camera is great but they don’t come out “orange” as such, they have more of a green tint. What am I doing wrong?

Problems with casio cam

I'm having a problem with my girlfriend's Casio Exilim 14.1 MP 5x camera. When you turn it on, there's no interface or menus displayed at all. If you try to take a photo, the camera freezes completely and the only way to turn it off is by removing the battery.

Also, the lens sticks a little when extending or retracting, but it's been doing that for a long time, so I don't think that's related to the current problem.

Can anyone help, please?

White Horizontal Lines on Sanyo VPC

just bought this babe to replace my old Sanyo VPC. Images I take all have these white lines. No matter the lighting or exposure. It appears when I extract as well, notably however images already on the memory card to not have the white lines, nor do videos.

Digi cam advice

Okay so I’ve been thinking about getting a digi cam for a while now, but I’m don’t wanna have to spend an insane amount of money. I’ve seen a lot of people have the Kodak PixPro FZ45 but I’m not to keen on the fact it has batteries and have also heard once you replace the batteries it could die. But then there’s also Kodak PixPro FZ55 which overall seems pretty good. If anyone has any info on these or other camera in a similar price range I would be internally grateful 🩵🩵🩵

How do I fix this problem offloading footage

I have to offload footage from a canon zr800 to digital and I was given a clearclick recorder. I have the proper 3.5mm to RCA jack plugged into the right terminals and such but for some reason no video comes through on the clearclick (even though video comes through perfectly on the camera and audio goes through). I have used the clearclick with other digital cameras just fine. What should I do? (I'm also willing to just buy a DV cable to connect it to my laptop if necessary)

Everyday carrying a digicam

So I have a Sony DSC W800 and everyday I have a scenario where i’m like “Damn I wish I had my camera on me right now “ but i’m unsure on how someone is able to everyday carry a digicam, I wanna be able to have it on my pocket all the day without damaging any exterior parts with scratches or anything. I have a bulky case but that won’t fit in my pocket so I need recommendations on what to do.

Looking For Suggestions for Old Digital Cameras for Beginner Photographer

Hello beautiful artists! Newbie photographer here, I was hoping to get some suggestions on vintage digital cameras. I am looking for an older digital camera that is less than $100 (balling on a budget) and it takes photos like a film camera. I have seen the Olympus Camedia C-3000 capture images in the style I am looking for. However, the memory card and card reader for Olympus cameras are super hard to find and not to mention expensive. I am basically looking for a camera very similar to that specific Olympus camera, but its memory cards and card readers are easier to find and more affordable. Let me know if you have any suggestions! I frequent eBay and Facebook marketplace so more than okay with pre-owned items :)

Is this fixable

Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.

This is my old Sony Cybershot (photos attached). It’s the first camera I ever owned, and I got it as a Christmas gift when I was around 9-10years old.

I own several cameras now, but none of them have the sentimental value this little Sony has.

The problem happened years ago. My younger cousin came over to our house. Everyone including my parents had specifically told him not to touch my camera because they knew he’d play with it and break something (he broke my dad’s expensive lens)

He still went into my room, took the camera out, turned it on, and was using it. Then someone called him. He panicked because he was about to get caught doing something he wasn’t supposed to be doing.

Instead of turning the camera off properly, he forced the lens closed by biting on the lens to shut it off (bite marks still visible) while it was still powered on.

Ever since then, the lens has been stuck like this (see the photos). The camera was in perfect condition before that happened.

I know it’s an old digi cam and probably not worth much today, but I genuinely don’t care about its market value.

I’d love to see it working again.

Thanks for reading.

Digital cameras

What are the best affordable digital cameras?I’ve been using the Fiji disposable cameras but it’s getting expensive having to buy them and plus getting the film developed. I saw this one at Walmart but does anyone have any experience with these?

Need Help for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S3000

Hello, I just bought this digital camera at a flea market. The battery contacts look clean, and the camera overall is in good physical shape. However, I don't know much about digital cameras. When I insert the AA batteries, the camera shows no signs of life—no sounds, no lights. Also, when the batteries are inside, the battery compartment lid doesn't close fully. Even when I squeeze the lid tightly shut with my hands and try to turn it on, it still doesn't work. What can I do? Is this something I can fix?

possible to fix "white filter" on cybershot t10?

i found a 2nd hand in an online local store thats about usd40 but it looks like it gives the pics a white filter instead (see attached pic), totally different from the ones ive seen from people online (ofc with their own settings)

i asked the vendor about it thinking its the settings they put and they said "It’s not really from settings it’s how it appears. If cleaned or constantly used I think it will be more better"

so i wonder if thats actually how it looks like without the settings, if its not, then do yall think this can be fixed with some tweaking?

What a model digicam that with timestamp like this?

I came across it on Flickr, but there was no digital camera information listed, like the make and model, though the date stamp was different.
