While visiting my parents after a long time, I asked them about the cameras they might still have lying around and they have a total of four cameras not in use! Two of them are these digicams and two rather professional ones.
Super happy to have them handed down to me now and I can save the money because I wanted to buy one.
I figured I need to buy new batteries tho.
I just got this T200, its super cool and the camera works just fine without any sd card. but with the sd card the seller sent, when i open it it says formatting error or something. i looked it up and it says that i should format the memory card. i formatted it and than it said reinsert, so when i reinserted it said formatting error again. it became kind of a loop and hopefully the problem is in the sd card and not the camera. if anyone knows anything i would be really helpful im not that knowledgeable with cameras

I’ve been looking for the perfect digicam for so long and i couldn’t find it people suggest most of the time sony rx100 series, canon sx730/740 , lumix zs70/99/100, but the most i do research on those camera the more people ( mostly on reddit) say that they’re too overpriced for what they offer because of social media. Also they apparently have small sensor ( i don’t mouche about camera i just know that the more the sensor is big the more the pictures are crisp) and that the only good thing about them are the zoom. I also don’t wanna fall into the social media propaganda and buy a camera double the price because of the fact that it popular even tho it was released 9 years ago ! … g7x … who said that ? 👀
I also been wanting the Nikon s8200 but my sister have it and both of us having the same camera is usless :)

I recently got hold of my family's old Sony Cybershot (model number DSC-P8), and wanted to extract photos off the SD card in order to store the photos elsewhere and take new photos :) My laptop and PC do not have the ability to read the SD card, and I did an internet search and tried to find a reader for the card but had no luck.
The card details/back of it are in the image attached. I would appreciate any help finding an SD card reader.

From what I read here it is fixable only in post processing or is there another way?
So basically i finally got my hands on a digicam my grandpa used before he died. It has been 2 years since he last used it and i was told i might need a new battery. I got a new battery and i just fully charged ut and inserted it in the camera but it wont turn on. Does anyone know why? This camera is very important to me and id love to be able to use it🥹

hey everyone so my previous digicam broke, it was the Kodak Pixpro FZ-45... so ive been looking for another one... my options are fujifilm finepix z20fd (on fb marketplace for $110 aud) and the Kodak Easy Share C 613 ($90 aud).. they're both in good conditions. My Kodka camera that broke mainly just stopped working as in it turns on n the sd card is fine but it doesn't show anything on the screen... should I try to get it fixed or is it better to get a new one? thanks!!!

Bought this Casio Exilim Ex-Z1080 secondhand. It came with its original battery and charger (which is sweet) but not the usb and av cable that was originally included with the purchase back in 2007 (which is understandable). However, im not familiar with this type of usb port, and therefore idk which cable to buy for it. Any help would be appreciated. Also, im assuming that with this cable i'll be able to connect the camera to my pc and transfer files, right?
I’m looking for a digicam that has that 2000’s look, soft glow and a good flash. But many digicams that I had always had the same problem. They were slow as f* which made them pointless for what I was looking for. Any recomendations? Thank you
Hi everyone! I’m trying to decide between the Canon PowerShot SX740 HS and the Panasonic Lumix TZ99, and I’m honestly struggling to choose 😭. I’m planning to buy one tomorrow, so I’d really appreciate opinions from people who actually own either of these cameras — especially anyone who has used both.
I found the SX740 HS for around €575 and the TZ99 for around €544, so price isn’t really the deciding factor for me.
I originally really wanted the SX740 HS because I’ve seen it everywhere and I love the look of it, especially the pop-up flash. I like that the flash comes out of the camera instead of being built into the body like on the TZ99. I have this impression that the Canon’s flash might give a brighter/better result for night photos, but I’m not sure if that’s actually true.
However, I’ve also seen quite a few people say that the SX740 is fragile, especially around sand/dust, and that the image quality can sometimes look blurry or overly processed. I’ve also seen people complain about the flash not working properly. Another thing that worries me is that the Canon can sometimes make people’s faces look very smooth, almost like a beauty filter. I really don’t like that kind of artificial/blurred skin look. Is this actually a noticeable issue, or is it mostly caused by certain settings?
For the TZ99, I haven’t seen nearly as many reviews, which makes me nervous because the SX740 is much more popular online. From what I’ve seen, though, people seem to like the TZ99’s image quality, and I haven’t noticed the same complaints about the “beauty filter”/overly smooth skin effect.
