Unfortunately told me the camera killed itself
Due to a blown fuse in the camera

I have this Canon SX270 HS in blue I literally just bought this two days ago and it just killed itself on me

WHAt I did was kind of dumb so basically while the camera was recording, I opened the camera door which caused the camera to trigger a long beep, then turned off because I think there’s a safety feature that makes it turn off when the battery door gets opened and and then I decided to change the SD card because I needed a faster SD card for something but when I tried turning it on again, it just wouldn’t turn on and that’s when this started

I have tried holding the power button for 30 seconds
I have also tried removing SD card and battery and leaving it alone for 30 minutes and I’ve tried multiple batteries that have full charge

Did my doing accidentally brick it?

The thing that broke was something that prevents the ear cup from spinning 360 so all I did was just add glue and now it's fixed not the best method but that's all. If the hot glue ever fails and breaks it I have another one that's working perfectly anyways so I'm just using this because it works 🤷
