Concerns about hospita tenancy agreement
I am in the process of renting a room in the Netherlands. The house that the room is located is shared with the landlord. Yesterday I was given a hospita tenancy agreement by the landlord's real estate agent. The agreement states that:
"The first nine (9) months following the commencement
date shall serve as the legal trial period (Article 7:232 paragraph 3 of the Dutch
Civil Code) (p. 1). Within these 9 months, the Landlord may terminate the
agreement in writing at any time without stating reasons, subject to a legal notice
period of three (3) months (p. 1). The Tenant does not acquire permanent rent
protection during these initial 9 months (p. 1)."
I understand that the landlord wants to protect themselves since they will be living under the same roof as me, but isn't this arrangement insecure for me?
