How do I decrescendo without going flat?

When I play a long note and gradually go from loud to soft, my pitch drops and goes flat as I get quieter. What techniques help keep the pitch steady during a decrescendo?

I'd like some advice on how to play this kind of note.

I want to know the fingering for playing D to F.

Trill B to C or C#?

How should I play this trill B to C, or B to C#? I’ve been playing it the second way B to C#, but a senior member in my orchestra told me it should be the first way B to C natural.
