Now that the new Scourge of Aqshy rules for Disciples of Tzeentch are out, I'm curious what everyone's initial impressions are.

• Which Enhancements stand out as the strongest so far?
• Which Artefacts do you think will become the competitive staples?
• What do you think about the updated Screamers of Tzeentch? Are they finally worth including in lists?
• And how are people feeling about the new Ogroid Thaumaturge?

I’ve been going through the new June 2026 points and battle profiles for Disciples of Tzeentch and wanted to hear your first impressions.

Personally, I had a feeling Screamers might become more relevant in this update.. and voila!

Hi all,

I have a question about a rules interaction in AoS 4 (Tzeentch - Silver Summoner ability).

The ability says:

Pick a friendly non-WARFLOCK ARCANITE unit that has been destroyed, then set up a replacement unit with half the number of models (rounding up) more than 9" from enemies and within 12" of a friendly Argent Shard.

My question is:

If a single-model Arcanite Hero (e.g. Magister) is destroyed, is it eligible for this ability?

Since it is an Arcanite unit with 1 model, in theory half would be 1 (rounded up), so it seems like it could return as a replacement unit.

However, I’m not sure if the intent/rules prevent single-model Heroes from being selected for this effect.

Would appreciate any clarification or rules references.
