My mom bought a 2019 Edge Titanium new and has only put 32k miles on it in that time. I help her with all her car issues since my dad passed and recently the transmission started the dreaded shudder. Ford said even though it’s low mileage they would offer no discount or warranty to replace it. The dealer quotes around 10k for full replacement. I know I can get a better price from a local transmission shop but is it worth fixing? My mom has another car and could sell this Edge outright as is, just trying to gauge if fixing it and selling or just selling as is makes more sense. The Edge is in otherwise perfect condition, always garaged and spotless inside and out. Was curious if anyone had been in a similar situation
