KO3 255/65/R19

OEM Wrangler Adventure 255/65/R19

After the long wait, 255/65/R19 KO3 finally available to L663 Defender. Got them installed today!

Quick thoughts after only ~50 miles of driving:

Compare to the OEM Goodyear Wrangler Adventure, KO3 has a noticeable "hoof" sound starting from ~20 mph, peaks at ~35 mph, and dies down above 45 mph. At highway speed, surprisingly, I don't feel any difference in terms of noise and vibration, despite KO3 being a more aggressive tire. I haven't driven the KO3 above 80 mph yet.

I feel the handling is slightly less responsive (the response to quick tiny left-right steering inputs). Cornering feels the same to me (when doing a right turn ~25mph).

I LOVE this tire, it looks amazing! And the snow/off-road performance has proven to be top notch over the years. I can't wait to go on a road trip with it. I'll be happy to trade off a bit of noise for the performance and the look!

If you are debating replacing 4 or all 5, I would recommend you just do all 5. The spare will visually look much better, you will get "25% more" tire life, and it will be easier when dealing with punchers.
