I just started carrying gel pepper spray, a few rides ago. Well today a friend and I were riding a route we always ride. We've never encountered dogs, or humans on foot, but today was different. In the distance I could see a person with 3 medium dogs. The dogs, made a bee line for us, one, a Chocolate Lab was snarling and barking. Really didn't bother me, but my friend was fearful, and slowed down some, which she really shouldn't have done.

Any way, the lady walking the dogs could not control that lab. Lab came ran up to me, again, and I was ready for it, the dog quickly changed it's mind once it got sprayed.

My friend and I had planned on doing a double back, but decided to keep going, since we would have run into the lady with the dogs, so we did a big loop and ended up doing a nice 22 mile ride.

I carry the pepper gel around my neck on a lanyard that has a quick release, so I can just grab the container and yank, don't have to rummage around in a pocket or handlebar bag.

I cancelled my 'Prime', months ago, but, would still get free shipping if I ordered more than $35.00, or what ever the minimum order is. Today I made a mistake. In my cart I had 2 gifts, I hit the, "Order contains a gift" box, filled out the little note form, went to check out, and they are charging me for shipping. Order was around $60.00, but with tax and shipping, and the charge for the gift bag, was around $79.00. I deleted the 'gift bag' so that dropped it down $3.99, but they are still charging for shipping.

They know they have you, as it's a 'gift' and you need it sent. Unless they've changed their shipping policy and charge for shipping now if you're not a Prime member. I RARELY order from Amazon anymore, but this was a specific gift for a new teenager that wanted this specific item.

Amazon was giving me the run around about an item I sent back, they confirmed they received it, then month or 2 later, they claimed they did NOT receive it, and charged my CC. Contacted Amazon via CHAT, person confirmed it was an error on Amazons part, said my $$ would be re-refunded. 2 weeks go by, nothing. I called Amazon, talked to a real person, who confirmed they did receive the item I returned, said they would get my CC re-refunded. Didn't happen. I contacted the BBB, copied and sent, via the BBB website, ALL the emails that went back and forth to Amazon. Within 2 days, I got my refund, and a, sort of, apology from Amazon.

BBB got my $$ back from another website that I'd ordered something from, was charged for and never received. Every email I'd sent that website, and their replies, I sent to the BBB also. Within a day, THAT company refunded my $$
