I just got Uber and my first ride was about $52 - but it said 'promotion applied', then gave me $50 off the ride for no reason as far as I could tell. Then my next ride was about $35, and that was completely free. Now, I am about to do my 3rd ride, and that is about $35 as well, and it is free. Is this some sort of promotion?
