I’m having a recurring issue with my Bambu Lab P2S (1 month old) where certain layers come out rough and damaged, but only on large flat horizontal surfaces.

Vertical walls and detailed features print perfectly fine, but flat areas (like the bottom or top surfaces of compartments) develop rough, uneven patches. In those areas, it looks like the nozzle is dragging through the material, and I can hear a scraping noise during printing.

The issue is also position-dependent: it mainly occurs towards the left and right of the build plate, while the center looks clean.

Interestingly, this does not happen on every layer—only on some solid surface layers—and the print often continues normally afterward.

I’ve already tried:

  • Full calibration multiple times
  • Firmware and Bambu Studio updates
  • Lowering nozzle temperature (220°C → 210°C)

Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what could cause this?
