Starting acting school at 28
Hi dears! I've been acting in smaller and medium productions all my life (basically every year since I was 3) and theatre/film/acting has been a constant in my tumultuous 20s - but I've never really had the guts to invest a 100%. Now I would like to change that - and apply at acting schools, learn the craft, get real about it.
However, I'm already 27 going on 28 and I'm worried if starting so late would give me a serious disadvantage in the industry.
I have lived many lifes in the last years, which I think has some big advantages (I can build some compex and nuanced characters), I have built myself a reliable plan B (education- and career-wise)... But I don't really know how brutal the industry is about age... or maybe I would be behind on networking or something.
Do you have any advice for me?
Any personal stories? ☺️
