my wife has been a stay at home mom for a few years now and i don't think i fully appreciated how physically exhausting it is until recently. she's carrying the baby, hunching over during feeds, running after the older one, doing literally everything while im at work all day. by the time i get home her neck and shoulders are always wrecked. i try to give her a massage after work when i can but honestly some nights i'm home late or we're both just dead and it doesn't happen. and i hate knowing she's been dealing with that tension all day with no real relief.
so i started thinking about what i could get her for mothers day thats useful and not just pretty. something she can use during nap time or after the kids are finally down. came across neck heating pads and it just made sense. the one ive been looking at has weighted edges that stay in place which i thought was a nice detail for someone whos never fully sitting still. multiple heat settings and auto shutoff too so i don't have to worry about her falling asleep with it on. has anyone here tried one of these? just want to hear from people who've used it before i commit
