I have a lonely chick 😭 so I had 9 hatch out on Sunday and Monday, three RIRxBPR and six bantams. My last one to hatch was one of the 3 mixes. Obviously I don’t know the sex yet but I’m going to say he just for ease of understanding. He didn’t fully absorb his yolk and wasn’t standing right at first so I isolated him for about 12 hours and tried to get him some help. After electrolytes and some rest, he seems to be walking much more normally and only stumbles occasionally. But every time I check on then, he’s laying down and he’s never huddled with the rest unless I try to interact then he comes running with the rest. Is there anything I can do to help him become more social or to make the flock accept him? I have not seen anyone bully him so I think he’s isolating himself. Photo is not great quality, so sorry. Also this is my first time hatching and having babies so go easy on me😅 My grown girlies were 2 years old when I got them and I’m new to raising chickens!
