Hi - I am a patient in the next phase of the Vertex Zimislecel (VX-880) clinical trial, and I am wanting to connect with any of the 35 patients who have already received their stem cell transplant. I am tentatively scheduled to get my transplant in June/July, and I want to hear from someone who has actually participated in the trial to fully understand the effects of the immunosuppressants they are using. I want the real story, not the anecdotal evidence from the company or my doctor.
I have asked to be put in touch other patients back in July of 2025 when I began my initial screening tests, and have brought it up several times, but my request has gone unanswered. This is making me suspicious, because members of the Eledon clinical trial are all over TikTok singing its praises. There is nothing posted from anyone in the Vertex trial, and no, participants did not have to sign non-disclosure agreements.
Do I want the stem cells? Of course! Am I blessed beyond belief to be a participant? Absolutely! However, I need to speak with REAL participants so I can hear the true story from them so I know what to expect. TIA!!
