The Tragedy of Ethan Winters

Holy Sh*t.

I’m a brand new RE fan. My first ever RE game was Requiem when it came out 2 months ago. I recently went on a platinum journey playing & platinuming RE 2 - 8, and i just finished Village. 7 & 8 really stuck to me though. I don’t know how to feel. like i knew something was up with Ethan bc he just glued body parts back on and took an ungodly amount of beatings.. but to lose Mia, live through the baker nightmare, live under the protection of Chris, think he murdered your wife, lose your child, find out he’s actually dead, and sacrifice himself to save his child & the real Mia without even being able to say goodbye is just.. a tragedy. I don’t know if i’ve ever felt this way after finishing a game outside of Silent Hill 2 remake. I’ve got so many questions but i’ve got a couple more playthroughs to finish my final platinum for the series. but damn… what did you all think of Ethan’s story? I haven’t played the DLC yet, so if this gets any replies plz refrain from talking about it if you can!
