Word to the wise, RAM seating force does not apply to header cables. My hand slipped while working in a confined space with a bad angle. Thought it was slotted but it twisted when I pushed a bit too hard. I had a spare, but at first I was almost certain I would be ordering one and waiting a couple days.

Live and learn, always better to take out the GPU if you need the wiggle room, even for a quick upgrade
