This is revolting 🤢
Can anyone recommend a hygiene cover for the duvet, to go under the regular duvet cover?
The thought of a hygiene cover makes me feel uncomfortable, because I’m weird about textures. Any suggestions would be very welcome!

I’ve always heard that acers are difficult to grow / sensitive.
I bought this one from Lidl a couple of years ago and popped it in the ground. It’s been ignored since then, I except for general (infrequent) weeding in its vicinity.
Have I lucked into the perfect site and soil? Is it the variety?
It is survivor’s bias?
Any advice appreciated.
I wore this cream jacket to Crufts, so it got a bit grubby what with all the dogs.
I washed it on a cold wool wash with normal detergent and reshaped it. Hung it out to dry overnight by the front door.
The wood stain/varnish transferred to the wet fabric!! It’s dried this way. Please advise on how I can get this off. We’ve never stained the wood so it could also be ancient varnish - house was built in the 1950s.
I’ve attached pics of some of the stains, the washing instructions (which are a complete lie btw), and the offending surface!
