Kids clubs/autism/niche interests
I am looking for kids clubs around Asheville for my 11 year old son. He has a really hard time with social skills due to adhd/high functioning autism and all of the stuff his generation has been through (covid, Helene). He has gained and lost so many friends over the years because of his intensity and lack of picking up on social cues. Most of his best friends have moved away and they seem to forget about him, and lose contact, where he will probably remember them forever. He is a very loyal friend. He loves vintage video games/arcade games and computer stuff. He loves to swim.
Does anyone know of any clubs with likeminded kiddos or have kiddos that attend clubs that work for them? I am desperate to find a place where he feels accepted.
