FCN and Naturalisation
Hey, I’m hoping to apply for naturalisation mid-2028 when i become eligible. However, I recently got 2 Fixed Charge/Penalty Notices (mobile phone and speeding), whose points would also not expire before 2029. I’m a bit worried about how these would play out in the naturalisation application, as far as I understand since I’ve paid these and have accepted the penalty points, these are not convictions but are still offences, however I’m not sure if these would ever have to be declared in the application, I’ve already been in the country for 6+ years (some of them were as a student) so getting naturalised is definitely something I was looking forward to, but these fines have got me re-thinking everything (fair to say the system works, as I won’t be repeating the mistake again).
Would appreciate any info/help I can get for this!
