How much income is feasible to live a middle or upper class life in the US, while paying for advanced T1D supplies like insulin pumps, CGMs, specialty doctors etc?
Do you pay for a healthcare Marketplace plan and/or supplies out of pocket?
Does it significantly reduce the amount of money you keep in your pocket/contribute to savings due to the maintenance costs of being diabetic?
Is your income consistent?
Is it possible, and if so how difficult, for someone with Type One Diabetes (using insulin pump and CGM) to pivot from a stable day job (salary / employer health insurance) into your own self made income?
