ghsv1 to shingles?

Hi! I (f27) have been diagnosed with ghsv1 for about a year. I have never had a recurrent outbreak after my initial and have taken antivirals daily since my initial outbreak about a year ago for transmission purposes. This morning I woke up with a small vesicular rash on my inner thigh (near my labia but definitely outside the general area). I sent a photo to my mother who is an ER doc and who is aware of my diagnosis, but she is admittedly not super versed on ghsv1 symptomology other than initial outbreak diagnoses, and she said it was a shingles rash! I find this unlikely since I have never had the chickenpox and was vaccinated for it; my initial thought was whitlow but she says that only happens on fingers (which I know isn’t true after following this subreddit for a year). But then again, I’ve been on non stop antivirals and completely asymptomatic for an entire year so it’s also unlikely that the hsv would’ve spread to my inner thigh in the form of whitlow with no active outbreaks. Has anyone had this happen or have any insight? Would be greatly appreciated in the interest of keeping my partner safe.
