I reached out to multiple dentists, and 3 out of 4 suggested 2 upper pre-molar tooth would have to be extracted, and if need arises they may extract one from the lower side. I had braces before but it didn’t help with the proclination or the smile.

I have two options for now, which has made me confused.

Metal braces: 2 upper pre-molar tooth has to be extracted

Invisalign: 2 upper wisdom tooth will be extracted

I was curious if metal braces are more effective in alignment correction.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!
