Full World Cup immersion

What are the levels in which people are immersion themselves into the WC? For context, I've been following the USA WC all throughout the bidding process. I've read over the original bid several times. I watched all the specials including the bid selection, city selection, and team drawing.

I'm traveling to 3 cities (I live in a host city) to watch 5 different games. I'm going to the fan fest on each of those cities. I'm a volunteer for one of the fan fest in my own city. I've become a very active reddit poster on many of the WC forums. I've interviewed with several different reports, even if the interviews didn't lead to stories (I consider myself pretty boring outside my WC fandom).

I listen to the different theme songs at least once a day, I watch all the planning news stories, and I'm trying to get through all the different documentaries. (Vice news documentary on the growth of USA soccer has been my favorite so far). I also apply every day for the various WC sweepstakes.

Even with all this I still check ticket prices every day, and obsess with all the different news cycles related to the WC.

Anyone else share the obsession?

FIFA WC fan fest presale, how to purchase?

I received an email informing me pre sale for hospitality has opened up for those with a presale code. However, when I visit Ticketmaster, there is no place to put in the presale code. Am I missing something?

Other uses for side kick during the game

Anyone planning on using this site to find open seats during the game? Trying to upgrade my seat from category 3 to category 2 by finding what seats are unoccupied.

RTT, likelihood of getting 16 seats together for low selling game?

I have a large group of co workers who want to go to a game for less than $170. I see one game with plenty of category 1 for under that price. If I use 4 accounts to buy sixteen tickets, what's the chances of getting them all together?

Bad news for resellers for many games. LMS, no queue, and many tickets still available. It you are still holding group stage tickets, better sell them asap. Even high demand games are dropping although at a much slower pace.

Potential for half empty stadiums (at least for less marquee games)? Check

FIFA corruption and greed on full display? Check

Still excited for the world cup? Hell yes. As a local to Houston, and with family located close to several host cities I couldn't be more excited. My first exposure was in 94 at 9 years old. My mother had us watch the final on TV as a family, and I've been hooked since. Now I get to take my 9 year old son and my 70 year old mother to watch the USA play in Seattle (arguably the best soccer atmosphere in the USA).

Messi and Ronaldo last world cup. Potential Iran vs USA match up on the pitch. Yamal first world cup. Kylian Mbappé fighting for second WC title. Brazil trying to reestablish dominance after Argentina recent WC title. A country outside south America and Europe potentially winning the title? Regardless of all the outside noise, we get to see the world's best compete in the biggest sporting event in the history of the world (up to this point).

By far, selling post are far out weighing buying post. Tracking sidekick, tickets are being listed at a much faster pace than what are being bought. On 3rd party sites, I'm starting to see low demand games being sold for less than MV. Many front row seats directly from FIFA have not sold. Opening match for USA remain with many unsold tickets. I am starting to see desperation from resellers. Fifa can only inflate the market for so long before they have to release all tickets. This is playing out exactly how many on reddit predicted. Obviously not every game will have dramatic price drops (looking at you Colombia vs Portugal), but the majority of resellers still holding tickets, the window to get max value for your tickets has long since closed.

The resellers that make me laugh the most are those who bought front row tickets with the expectation they would be easy to sell. FIFA most likely sold them at max value already and most people refuse to pay more, especially for group stage.
