Other Impactful Experiences
I am almost done with my application but I keep going back and forth between wondering if I should fill out the OIE prompt. I am definitely middle class and have been very grateful to not have struggled financially, but I am a first-gen college student, have no one I know going into medicine, and I went to a small liberal arts school that offered no guidance in terms of being a pre-med and had no resources for me to utilize throughout the entire process. I recognize that I come from a privileged background and I don't want to seem like I am making my experience out to be something that was completely disadvantageous. I just want it to be highlighted that I have done everything practically alone thus far. Any feedback would be great :) (sorry posting here bc I don't have enough karma lmao)
