Jumped In Head First
So, I bought a Craftsman self-propelled 21" with a 7.25 190cc Briggs and Stratton engine and an electric push-button start. Plan was to fix and flip. My confidence was through the roof because I had just gotten my own mower to work by cleaning out the carburetor. I think I've tried everything short of replacing the ignition coil. I cleaned out the carburetor, changed the air filter, drained the gas, and changed the oil. I even removed the electric push-button starting system thinking that might be interfering in some way. The seller said he just bought a new spark plug in attempts to troubleshoot, and I'm taking his word for it. There is resistance when I pull the cord and an in-line spark tester confirmed that there is spark. The only thing left i can think of to try is replace the ignition coil, but I don't know how to make sure I get the right (compatible) one. Any advice would be appreciated.
