I have this ds lite which I have put a battery that I know works and charges in and it clearly is getting charge shown by the light. No matter how long I charge it for it won’t turn on. Is there anything that could be a potential quick fix once I open it up?

Recently bought this and it’s throwing me off something doesn’t feel right about it. It came with the carrying case so that made me still buy it but I’m not sure.
