He’s learning how to fly!!🥹

Though he did crash land at the end least it was on a pillow (why I’m saying is he’s learning how to fly is due to the fact he had clipped wings and they grew back about a month ago!!)

Prepared for a new friend coming tomorrow!

I recently lost my other snail due to an accident I caused by dropping him. Despite my best efforts to save him, it was too late. Now, I have only one snail left, Ilo. I felt terrible about losing him, so I decided to get a friend for him. His new friends will arrive tomorrow, and I’ve already cleaned up the terrarium and moved some things around to make it a welcoming environment for him. I hope the new snail will settle in peacefully.

(How do we like the setup let me know if anything needs changed!!)

Going deaf from my bird (probably)

It only takes 85 decibels to cause hearing damage, I WILL be going deaf from somone named Freddie in the future
Before this video, I did some testing with a decibel meter on him and it went up to 100 multiple times

He can fly!!

When I first got my bird butters, his wings were clipped. I got him in April and now he just flew for the first time.(ignore the dirty room I can’t clean to much cause my broken collar bone)

My boys are healthy!!

Well I shouldn’t say (boy)s there is a chance that the bird butters (the one on the right in the photo) is a girl! I’ve been concerned for my other bird Freddie in the left of the photo with his tail bobbing thinking it was a respiratory infection and panicking all week. Good news they are both in good health! (Though Freddie is a little fat)

Checkup?

I believe Saturday is an OK day for me to take my boy Freddie to the it’s not too far away, but I still also am worried about it. I noticed on the 18th of this month that he’s had a subtle amount of tail bobbing as well with a bit of heavy breathing it only happens occasionally though, but this could also because the fact that he’s currently having a very heavy molt. And I know their little bodies get upset with the molting process so hopefully it’s just the molting process. That’s making him have a tail Bob and subtle amount of heavy breathing, but if it is an illness, does it seem like he’ll make it a Saturday with the way he’s acting like his crazy self as you can see in this dancing clip of him hollering at his cage mate. I just wanna make sure Saturday as soon enough because if it is an illness, it could be really bad because of how fast budgie deteriorate. if anybody asks for a video of his tail bobbing I will gladly send a video in the comments

Snail food suggestions?

I’m looking for some other tasty treats to give my land snails (Helix aspera) besides lettuce, cucumber, carrots, and broccoli. Do you have any other food ideas?
