The current meta is woeful
Look, I love my GKs and have a ton of fun with them. But yesterday I had one C'Tan tank:
. 15 purifiers; 70 odd shots including 4 pyscannons, with full hit and wound rerolls
. A fully volley from a Landraider + half of another volley a turn later
. A charge from 10 purifiers; 30 attacks with full hit and wound rerolls
. A charge from a Terminator brick with a leader; 36 attacks, lethal hits, reroll hits and wound rolls of 1
. Additional attacks from clapbacks from surviving purifiers and terminators
I never got it lower than 5 wounds.
That's insane. And then to think he had another...
Yes, no GMDK. It's the end of the edition and I'm done with them for 10th. 25 more points for a Defiler says it is one of the worst costed units in the game.
My hope is Warpbane stays, is only 2DP and something like Santic is 1DP and can provide GMDKs with the tools it needs to be a threat for the units we can't otherwise kill consistency.
