Hardship Transfer
Hey everyone, I wanted to explain my situation and see if anyone knows whether this may qualify for an expedited transfer approval.
A few months ago, I lost my job and started falling behind on bills. The job market where I live has been really difficult, and I couldn’t find stable work locally. I chose Amazon because it was the quickest place to get hired while still offering decent pay.
Because of that, I had to take a position about four hours away from home. Since starting, I’ve had to either sleep in the car or pay for hotels just to make it to work. On top of that, my car is currently in the shop, so my girlfriend and I are sharing one vehicle. She ended up taking the same job so we could both manage transportation and continue working.
We’re both trying to transfer back closer to home because this situation honestly isn’t sustainable long term. Does anyone know if this is something they may approve for an expedited transfer?
