iFit on gym equipment?
At home I use a Merach s29 bike with the QZ app for cycling, however I travel a lot for work, and the work apartments have a gym with iFit equipment, I think FreeMotion, though won't be back to verify for a couple weeks.
I have a free iFit account from having previously been on someone else's plan, but it isn't active now. I don't think I can sync to Garmin with the free plan, but does anyone know if I could still log in on the machine with my free account and get the workouts saved to the account, and then download the tcx and upload that to Garmin?
Or if that wouldn't work, do you think I could subscribe with a Train plan and use that to login for syncing? The gym pays so you have access to all the workouts even without an iFit account, so I don't need the Pro to make the machine work. I'm going to check to see if the QZ app can connect directly to the machine to record workout information, but I think you normally have to install something on the machine, and I can't do that on a gym machine.
