I just need someone else to celebrate this with me

(Never mind the hostas, they're being moved tomorrow, I just dug them up a few weeks ago and was trying not to kill them)

I HAND-DUG THESE FREAKING BEDS!!! Sorry to shout, I'm pretty proud. It was just me and a trowel against the world. I know I could've rented a sod cutter and made life easier, but I'm trying to save my precious pennies for all the things I want to plant.

It took me two weeks, BUT I FREAKING DID IT! Let the planting begin.

I'm in MN and anxiously waiting to see when this divorce will be finalized.

Ex was formally served back in November. Demanded an extension to find legal counsel that dragged things out until mid-January. Mediation was in February and Ex was unwilling to agree to anything that day. Next court hearing, her lawyer didn't have the paperwork completed (which she previously said she would do) so my lawyer drafted it. Next court hearing, Ex's lawyer doesn't show up and doesn't have the draft. Ex claims that this our draft has several things on it that are incorrect (whatever the hell that means). Wait another week with no movement. Her lawyer created another draft that Ex is apparently unable to review with the devices she has access to.

Is this something she could be held accountable for if she fails to respond? What happens from here? Just curious what comes next if she continues to procrastinate like this. I'd like to get on with my life.

Several of my neighbors have done this. I attempted to look up municipal codes but I'm not sure if I was searching the right terms or not because I couldn't find anything.

I hate mowing that stupid thing and if I could get away with never having to mow it again, I'd die a happy woman.

Edit to add: I found the ordinances about sidewalk obstruction but it didn't mention much more than "keep the sidewalks clear." No brainer and no argument from me there.

Edit #2: not looking to plant trees. Hostas, Lily of the valley, that sort of thing
